The Art of the Flake

Light, buttery, and decidedly difficult, a perfect croissant is something to savor. On the coldest day of the year, we scoured the city for a baker’s dozen of croissants baked to buttery perfection, all beautifully ready for their close-ups.
What better way to savor the flaky magic of a croissant than with a messy spread of jam? Serious Jam is our go-to for locally made jams that look as good as they taste.
No croissants were harmed in the making of this photo. However, many were consumed. Our team taste-tested each one and left no crumbs.
Pair these showstopping croissants and perfect golden sunlight with a lazy Sunday morning and nowhere to be. A copy of Collective Magazine to page through is optional, but highly encouraged.
